My wonderful co-worker gave me some of her old art supplies one of them being a 24 piece watercolor pencil set. Since I’ve been overloaded with projects lately I decided to take them out for a spin in order to clear the mind and keep the creative juices flowing. The idea of the pineapple came from one of my drawing exercise books, and the colors from me not wanting to do too traditional of a piece. I have been more and more inclined to play with colors lately and this is just one step forward. While I meant to actually use them as watercolors, I got too carried away with the comfort of traditional shading that I never actually got that far.
