After playing around with drawing a cactus, I realized that I’ve drawn so many of them, that I wanted to find another prickly item in the world that I loved. That’s when I remember my fascination with my neighbor’s artichokes, I absolutely loved to see them as they grew and become an amazing plant. Personally, I think they look better as a plant than as food, but then again I also super love them as food.
